Japanese Speech Contest 2006 |
|
On the 19th of March 2006, Japanese Speech Contest was held
at National Culture Hall in Vientiane.
Six Japanese course students challenged the contest, and Mr
Sanouphab PHOMKEONA got a second prize in intermediate level.
The contest has been launched since 2003,
and it has been organized by Ministry of Education in Laos PDR,
Embassy of Japan to Lao PDR, JICA Laos Office and
the excective committee consisted of educational institutes of Japanese language
in Laos, such as Dept of Japanese Language of National University of Laos (NUOL),
Japan Alumni Association of Laos (JAOL),
three private Japanese language schools,
and Lao-Japan Center.
The contest aims to encourage Lao people to study Japanese.
