"Origami"; Folding Paper Crafts

What is "Origami"?
Origam, which is a Japanese word, means literally paper folding. The beauty of Origami, the ancient Japanese art of making various shapes and forms with paper through combinations of surfaces and lines, transcends the barriers created by differences in languages.
The only material used, paper, is available everywhere in abundance in all colours, sizes and shapes. Beautiful artifacts are made without any special tools.
In Origami, only one sheet of plain paper is used with its square and coloured on one side only, for special artistic work. However, papers and colours are specially chosen to suit a particular theme. Papers are folded in different forms such as rectangular, circular, semicircular, flowers, stars, shirts, boxes, and so on.
