Introduction
Lao-Japan Human Resource Cooperation Center (Lao-Japan Center) was established by a Japanese Grant Aid in May 2001 at the Dongdok main campus of the National University of Laos. The Center is jointly operated by Laos and Japan under the technical cooperation project of the Government of Japan through the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA).
The objectives of Lao-Japan Center are to provide education in business management and Japanese Language. These human resource skills will contribute to the transition of the Lao economy to a market oriented one and to promote mutual understanding and friendly relationships between the Lao and Japanese people.
The Lao-Japan Center is expected to be a key organization that will play a significant role in human and cultural exchange for Lao and Japanese people for years to come.
